App Reporting

Learn how to report suspicious communications and recognize security simulations directly within the app to keep your organization safe

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The App Reporting feature allows you to quickly and securely report suspicious SMS, calls, or WhatsApp messages to your organisation’s Security Operations Center (SOC)

🛡️ 1. Reporting Suspicious Messages or Calls

If you receive a suspicious communication, such as a text message, call, or WhatsApp message:

  1. Open the app and select the Report Suspicious Message option.

  2. The app will ask a few quick questions, such as:

    • Did you click on a link in the message?

    • Did you share any personal information?

  3. You’ll be prompted to share additional details, such as:

    • Sender’s phone number

    • Screenshots of the suspicious message (optional but helpful)

Once submitted, the app automatically sends your report to your SOC

💡 Your report helps the security team respond faster to potential threats and improve overall protection.

🔍 2. Identifying Simulated Attacks

Sometimes, you may receive a security simulation - a safe, controlled message sent by your organisation to test awareness and train employees

  • The app immediately identifies that it was part of a simulation.

  • You’ll receive instant feedback confirming it was a test and providing educational insights

The app will also provide training content explaining the type of attack (e.g., SMS phishing or “smishing”) and show warning signs to help you recognise real threats in the future
