Scheduling: Defining Parameters for Automatic Playlist Scheduling

How to configure the scheduling parameters, which serve as the general foundation for the automated Playlist Scheduling. By defining frequency, business hours, and risk profiles.

⏩️ 1. Frequency: Interval based on Awareness Maturity

The Frequency tab allows you to set the interval between simulations based on an individual employee’s current awareness score. This ensures that users with a lower awareness maturity receive more frequent training while advanced users are tested less often but with increased difficulty.

  1. Awareness Maturity Levels: The platform automatically categorizes users into levels from Onboarding to Very High based on their performance.

  2. Score Boundaries: Each level is defined by specific score boundaries (e.g., Medium is 25 - 50).

  3. Setting Frequency: Use the + and - buttons to define the interval between simulations in weeks for each specific maturity level.

  4. Impact: The Number of affected users column shows in real-time how many employees currently fall into each frequency tier.

🔔 Note: Make sure to click on "Save" after adjusting the frequency to ensure the changes are submitted

🕖 2. Business Hours: When to send simulations

To maximize realism and effectiveness, simulations are only sent during standard working hours within an employee's local time zone.

  1. Define Weekdays: Set the start and end times for each day of the work week.

  2. Time Zone Logic: The platform uses the Time Zone automatically calculated from the employee's "Country" field to ensure "09:00" means 9:00 AM for that specific user, regardless of their location.

  3. Click Save: Ensure all timing adjustments are saved to apply them to the global playlist schedule.

🛡️ 3. Risk Levels: Assigning Risk Profiles

The Risk Levels configuration allows you to assign distinct risk profiles for your organization. This determines which groups receive specialized, high-risk simulation channels (such as Voice Phishing) versus standard "White Collar" or "Blue Collar" simulations.

  1. View Profiles: The main tab displays a summary of existing profiles (e.g., Executive, High Risk, White Collar) and the number of employees currently assigned to them.

  2. Assigning Groups: Click Assign groups to enter the multi-step configuration wizard.

  3. Selection Wizard: Navigate through the numbered steps (1-4) to select available groups for each profile.

    • Example: "Department-Heads" can be assigned to the Executive profile to receive high-sensitivity targeting.

    • Example: "IT-Security" and "Network-Admins" can be assigned to High Risk to receive simulations testing advanced technical exploitation.

  4. Finalize: Review the People in selected groups summary at the bottom to ensure the distribution aligns with your security strategy before clicking Next move on and click Save complete the setup.
