How to configure scoping filters in Microsoft Entra ID to control which users and groups are provisioned into revel8

🎯 1: Open Provisioning in Microsoft Entra

  1. Go to the Enterprise Applications section in Microsoft Entra Admin Center

  2. Select your revel8 / Company Shield application

  3. Navigate to the Provisioning tab

🧩 2: Access the Mapping Section

  1. In the Provisioning tab, unfold the Mappings section

  2. Choose whether you want to configure User or Group mapping

βš™οΈ 3: Configure the Scoping Filter

  1. Go to Source Object Scope

  2. Select All Records

  3. Add your scoping filter (define which users or groups should be included)

βœ… 4: Finish Setup

  1. Save your configuration

  2. The scoping filter is now active

  • Scoping filters let you limit which users or groups from Entra ID are provisioned into revel8

  • Without a filter, all records (all users/groups in scope) will be provisioned

  • You can combine multiple conditions in a scoping filter for fine-grained control
