Add manual context

Select the tools and industries revel8 uses to match relevant simulations to your organization, and set the tone and spam option simulations use.

ℹ️ Info
Part of the Getting Started guide, Step 4. Add company context.

revel8 uses your organization's context to select relevant simulations, for example including Microsoft Teams simulations once you've added it as a tool. Manual context is where you set that context by hand. In the sidebar, open Organization → Context collector, then select the Manual context tab. It sits alongside Company Logo, AI generated context, Email signature, and Voice Clones, plus Employee data if it's enabled for your organization. You need the CISO role to open this page.

Add tags

Add tags in two categories:

  • Tools used internally: the IT tools and systems your organization uses, for example Salesforce, SAP, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.

  • Industries the company operates in: the industries relevant to your organization, for example retail, healthcare, or manufacturing.

Click a field to see suggestions, or start typing to filter them. Select a suggestion, or type its exact name and press Enter or click Add. Click the × on a tag to remove it.

Typing in the Tools field shows matching suggestions to pick from

📝 Note
You can only add tags from the suggestion list. You can't create your own tools or industries.

Changes save automatically. The status in the top right shows Saving..., then Saved.

Set the tone and spam option

Under Formality, choose the tone simulations use for your organization:

  • Formal: the formal form of address. This is the default for new organizations.

  • Informal: the informal form of address.

Below that, the Allow spam emails switch controls whether spam emails may be used in simulations for your organization.
