Training Module Generation

Learn how to create and edit training modules in the revel8 Training Academy

The Training Academy allows you to create new modules using three different options and edit exiting ones.

🧑‍🎓 1: Create a Module

  1. Start out in the Academy Section of the revel8 platform.

  2. Move to Create and select Module

➡️ 2: Select one option to create the training module

  • Option 1: Create a module from scratch

  • Option 2: Generate a module using AI

  • Option 3: Create a module based on a template

Note: You can always edit your settings after the module has been created.

✏️ 2.1 Create a module from scratch

Configuration

  1. Choose an Icon that represents your topic

  2. Enter a Title and Description

  3. Select a level of Difficulty - this determines the points a learner can earn

  4. Assign relevant Categories to help with future filtering

  5. Link a company Policy if applicable

  6. Click Next

Language

  1. Select all required languages via Add languages and designate one as Primary

  2. Choose between a fomal, a casual or an engaging translation and voice tone

  3. Select a male or female voice for audio transcripts

  4. Click Next

Summary

  1. Review your settings in the Summary

  2. If correct, click Create module

  3. To make changes, click Back or edit after the module is generated

🤖 2.2 Generate a module using AI

Prompt

  1. Enter a prompt explaining what the module should teach

  2. Link a company Policy if relevant

  3. Click Next

Configuration

  1. Select a level of Difficulty - this determines the points a learner can earn

  2. Choose the Length - this determines the number of slides for the module

  3. Choose if you want a Quiz, Content or both

  4. Click Next

Language

  1. Select all required languages via Add languages and designate one as Primary

  2. Choose between a fomal, a casual or an engaging translation and voice tone

  3. Select a male or female voice for audio transcripts

  4. Click Next

Summary

  1. Review your settings in the Summary

  2. If correct, click Create module

  3. To make changes, click Back or edit after the module is generated

📋 2.3 Create a module based on a template

  1. Hover over your desired template

  2. Click Select to automatically generate the module based on that layout.

✍️ 3. Editing existing modules

You can modify your content at any time after the initial creation:

  1. Click on the settings icon to update the title, difficulty, or category

  2. Click on the flag icon, to switch between languages for editing

  3. Changes are saved automatically. However, you can click Save at any time to manually secure your progress.

✅ Final Checklist

  • Build from Scratch: Full manual control - you define the icons, title, difficulty, and specific policy links yourself.

  • Generate with AI: Speed-focused - you provide a prompt and desired length, and the AI builds the slides and quiz for you.

  • Use a Template: Design-ready - you pick a pre-set layout and simply select to start with a proven structure.
