Human Risk Monitor: Playlist View

How to understand the playlist view to view the lowest level details on individual simulation level.

The Playlist View provides a comprehensive, chronological log of every simulation event within the platform. Whether a simulation is currently planned, successfully executed, or stopped, this view tracks the entire lifecycle of your automated training campaigns.

📋 1. Understanding the Playlist Table

The main table is your primary tool for understanding individual employee interactions with simulations. It lists every execution attempt along with its current status and results.

Key Columns

  • Employee Name: The individual targeted by the simulation.

  • Simulation Name: The specific template used for the execution.

  • Difficulty: The complexity level assigned to the template (e.g., Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard).

  • Simulation Type: The attack vector used, such as Email, SMS, or Incoming call.

  • Scheduled at: The date the execution was or is intended to be triggered.

  • Groups: The organizational segments the employee belongs to.

💡 Understanding Data Masking & Anonymization Depending on your organization's privacy settings, employee names may be masked:

  • Without Anonymization: You will see the clear names of employees

  • With Anonymization: You see the department name maintained in the employee attribute (e.g., "Procurement") instead of a person's name. Privacy Protection: If a group contains fewer than 5 people, the name is further masked to the company level (e.g., "revel8") to prevent individual identification.

🕒 2. Event Tracking & Status

The Events and Scheduling status columns provide real-time updates on user progress.

  1. Live Event Feed: The Events column displays a sequence of tags representing user actions, such as Simulation started, Mail opened, Mail clicked, or Training completed.

  2. Detailed Timestamps: Hover your mouse over any event tag to see the exact UTC timestamp for that specific action.

  3. Status Indicators: Every entry is marked with a color-coded status

Status Type

Logic & Functionality

Scheduled

The simulation is currently in the queue and set to be delivered at a future date.

Executed

The simulation has been successfully triggered and delivered to the employee.

Stopped

The simulation was manually or automatically halted before it could be completed.

Execution failed

The platform encountered a technical error while attempting to trigger the simulation.

Property injection failed

A failure occurred when the system attempted to populate dynamic fields (like the employee's manager) within the simulation template. This is typically called by missing attribute values in within employee data.

Draft

The simulation entry is prepared but has not yet been finalized or put into the active schedule - e. g. if you have created a campaign that was not yet scheduled.

🛠️ 3. Customizing & Exporting Your View

The Playlist View can be tailored to show only the data relevant to your current reporting needs.

  1. Column Visibility: Click the Eye icon in the top right to toggle specific columns on or off, such as Simulation Type, Groups etc..

  2. Advanced Filtering: Use the Filter... bar at the top of each column to quickly isolate events by specific employees, simulation types, or dates.

  3. Exporting Data: Click the Export data button to download your current view. You can choose between CSV (Comma-separated values) or Excel formats for further analysis.

💡Hint: You can apply filter ahead of your export to pre-filter the data to limit the exported data.
